Elite Shafters was set up originally 10 years ago ish by two work collegues, my self WireWolf and a friend Lob, was also known as back then as Boss Shafters mainly playing with a group of friends on TFC, the clan then was suddenly put on hold as the work mates split up meaning one left the company, a couple o years later Lob contacted WireWolf and they both joined a small community called Metamorphics, we both became admins on all the servers, running Death Match, GunGame, CSS, even a few other mods from time to time, however these servers where Bots on one time humans on the other, after a period of time Wire was ranked No.1 on the servers and was becoming very tiresome playing against bots so i decided to join a clan, this clan was called Urban Warfare, unfortunatly it was destined for disaster as the clan was run by a total idiot known as Kwinster, so i left and reformed my old clan with a number of members of UW & Some members from UKW who we often played in friendly clan matches, i registered the clan with TWL, GBGL and OGL where we win some and we loose some, but we have FUN, currently trying to meet the critria for another league which is ED Enemy Down and when approved we will drop the OGL, the clan is growing day by day, and with number of members that we have we need to be in as many leagues as possible, with keeping the clan happy we mix our team alot, so we dont always have the strongest possible team on offer, but with this type of rotation means we always have enough clan members to play the matches.
We currently have two servers run and maintained by WireWolf Orginally we started off with three but it was found that the 20 man was never used, so we have cut down to a dedicated 16 man GunGame Server and an 11 man match server, we will monitor this for future requirements if additional servers required then we will purchase them.
Wire Wolf has recently been approached by TWL to take on an admin position for the EU CSS ladders
Current team leaders are Wire Wolf & Hitman with Twitch or Saggita as he is also know with full admin control
